DENSITY OF A PRISM
BY
Juan Calles Rivas

we  will calculate the density of a prism
1ºMATERIALS
·       a scale to measure the mass
·       a ruler
·       a calculator
·       a prism
2ºPROCEDURE
1 :Whith  the ruler , measure the dimensions of the Prism .
2: Calculate and Write down he wolume with it corresponding unit .
3:With the scale we calculate the prism it mass
 4:calculate the density by dividing mass by volume .
3ºANALYSIS OF THE RESULT

Width= 2cm
Length=2cm
Height=7 cm

                        mass
density is  is  ______
                        volume

V=2.2.7=28

4ºCONCLUSION
the denity of te prism is

Glossary of physics and chemistry theme 2

-Every form of matter with its own clear boundaries is called a physical body.

-every form of matter without its own morphology and whose boundaries are imprecise is called a physical system.

-Direct observation: This requires the use of the correct instruments,  such as optical,  microscopic or the more modern,  scanning tunneling microscope .

-Indirect observation: Through observable experimental evidence at the scale we can derive models and establish laws and theories that describe the behaviour matter at a microscopic level

The materials

  1. cardboard =pasteboard or stiff paper.
  2.  ceramic= made of clay and hardened by heat.
  3.  cotton= Flower of the cotton plant
  4.  glass=a hard, brittle substance, typically transparent or translucent, made by fusing sand with soda, lime,
  5.  leather= a material made from the skin of an animal by tanning or a similar process.
  6.  metal=a solid material that is typically hard, shiny, malleable, fusible, and ductile, with good electrical and thermal conductivity
  7.  paper=material manufactured in thin sheets from the pulp of wood or other fibrous substances, used for writing, drawing, or printing on, or as wrapping material.
  8.  plastic=Un material sintético fabricado a partir de una amplia gama de polímeros orgánicos tales como polietileno, PVC ...
  9.  rubber=a tough elastic polymeric substance made from the latex of a tropical plant or synthetically.
  10.  silver or gold =precious metals
  11. wood=the hard fibrous material that forms the main substance of the trunk or branches of a tree or shrub.
  12.  wool =the fine soft curly or wavy hair forming the coat of a sheep, goat,
